Super Army Event Grand Finale - showcase
2009
Showcase 2009 was held at Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium,on February 4, 2009 - World Cancer Day. Prior to the main event, zonal events were held. The schools divided area wise, witnessed zonal events in seven zones at six auditoriums across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. 59 schools and 3,918 children attended the program at various auditoriums.
Selected students were trained by professionals in art, of how to use of the stage, foot work on stage, dialogue delivery, body language, expressions and voice modulation.
Showcase 2009 was inaugurated by Mr. Mohan Patankar, Joint Commissioner of Food and Drug Administration and Ms. Dipal Shaw, actor. Meena Naik, head of the Salaam Bombay Creative Academy and a well known theatre and TV artist along with Makrand Deshpande, celebrated playwright, director and actor came to encourage the young stars. The entire program was anchored by 2 young Salaam Bombay Creative Academy students and they kept the 2500 youngsters on their toes throughout the show.
Gaurav Dagaonkar, composer and singer gave an inspired musical performance along with well known guitarist Sarosh. The winners of the theatre, song and poster competition were given prizes and awards.

2008
The Super Army 2008 event was organized at Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium, Mumbai on Feb 7th 2008. Thirty Four schools participated with an audience of over 2500 children. Six plays, eight songs were staged and fifteen posters were up for competition.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Jairaj Phatak - Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai and the other eminent Chief Guests were Mr. Mir Ranjan Negi – ex-hockey coach and inspiration behind Chak De India, Ms Sonali Kulkarni- actor. Prominent among the judges for the event were Ms. Meena Naik well known theatre and TV artist and Ms. Mrunmayee Lagoo actor and director of well known plays.
There were special performances by Vasundhara Raturi of Sa Ra Ga Ma Little Champs fame and Aasma Band. The program was well received and was extensively covered by media.

2007
Super Army 2007 was held at Bhavan’s Auditorium on January 29, 2007, Chowpatty. This year a special attempt was made to get the ‘soldiers’ to prepare and present their own Tobacco Free Demand Charter.
The emphasis was on making them comprehensively understand the Tobacco Law and its importance for their schools. To equip themselves with more information the children visited police stations and media houses. They also interviewed police officers, media persons, teachers and school principals on their awareness levels about the tobacco issue and the Tobacco law. Based on all the gathered information they prepared and presented the charter to the Chief Guests Mr. A N Roy, Mumbai Police Commissioner and Ms Supriya Sule former Member of Rajya Sabha.
Children put up enthralling performances and gave the message of tobacco free world through plays and songs.
Mr Jagmohan Mundhra, Film director and Sanjeevani Bhelande, singer gave away prizes to the winners. The children of Super Army also had an opportunity to go live on 93.5 Red FM with their demand for a Tobacco Free World.

2006
The 2006 batch of 10,000 soldiers took the Super Army forward. This year the event was organized at Nehru Centre on February 20, 2006. Prior to the final art event the children were trained by an art teacher from Camlin. Similarly Cyrus Dastoor, Theatre personality gave his inputs to the children for drama. Mr Satish Sahaney, Director Nehru Science Centre, Ms Sanjeevani Bhilande, Singer Mr Raghav Sachar, Musician Mr Rajesh Puri actor, Ms. Brinda Chudasama activist and designer and Jamini Pathak, actor judged the event. 900 children from the 23 schools were present at the event.

2005
The 2,023 Super Army Soldiers are always on the lookout for something new and challenging. They are keen that people around them must understand the graveness of tobacco abuse and take a stand. Thus to generate awareness on January 5, 2005 the Y. B. Chavan auditorium witnessed the soldiers putting their thoughts on tobacco in front of an audience of 900 children. The children enacted plays, sang songs and put up huge walls of art to express their concerns on tobacco.
